With the merger of John Smith Academy and Metro Black Magic comes professional coaching and management, as well as enhanced training for youth soccer players in the Metro West area. The development of each player is the emphasis of every team in every age group. A top quality coaching staff, directed by an NSCAA Premier Coach in Felicity Day, will strive to bring out the best in each player, while working hard to improve each player's weakness. All of our teams will compete at the highest level possible in Massachusetts.

Each player selected to play on a JSSA Magic team will receive the following:

2 practices per week in Fall and Spring
1 game per week in Fall and Spring in Maple or MASC league
1 indoor practice per week, Jan - March at JSSC
3 Tournaments, including John Smith Memorial Day
Uniform - 2 Nike game jerseys, 1 pr. shorts, 1 pr. socks, a bag and a practice t-shirt (existing players will receive new home uniform the second year)
3 indoor sessions of league play - ie. 1 indoor game per week, Jan-April
JSSC Indoor Membership for 1 year
Free Club Night at the Bubble
(May-Nov - FREE play at the Bubble
Wednesdays, 4-6pm)

Cost - $1,400 per player

For those players who are not on a JSSA Magic team, but are interested in having extra training throughout the winter, we have started the following program. Individual skills development and tactical awareness will be our focus. We nurture each player through positive encouragement, fun programs and superior professional coaching.

Separate Winter Training Program

1 practice per week for 6 weeks
3 6-wk sessions offered
Boys 10-13 yrs old - Fridays, 5:30-6:30pm
Girls 10-13 yrs old - Fridays, 6:30-7:30pm
Maximum of 8 players per hour
Session 1 - November 13 - December 18, 2009
Session 2 - January 8 - February 12, 2010
Session 3 - February 26 - April 2, 2010
This program will take place on Arena #3 for Session 1. Should we get more than 8 players registered for Session 2 and 3, we may move to Arena #1 or #2, in which case the cost would change.

Cost - $90.00 per session
