Fall 2009 Team Review
- This Fall our shorties worked and played very hard. Competitive in every match, and often pitted against older groups, they made great strides towards achiieving excellence as individual players, as a team, and as supportive teammates. Remember how much fun we had in the rain and mud at Oak Grove? Thank you to Coach Paul, Manager Erik, and all the parents who made these great experiences possible. Fall 2009 Team Review
- The JSSA Boys 10 team had a fun and hard played fall. For the first time as a team we definitely had our exciting moments and some more interesting ones. Due to a couple of injuries we started the season not playing at full strength, but we did play hard and, most importantly, worked hard. For a new team we developed and grew into a team that was hard to handle. With the winter session and more time to learn and develop, the spring will be even more exciting and fun!!! Fall 2009 Team Review
- The U11 girls came away with a strong and encouraging season!!! The team finished with a respectable 2-6-1 record including a huge win against The Stars of Mass and an unbelievable tie against the 2nd place Darby FC Squad! The girls attendance was great @ every practice. They were always listening and trying to take on every aspect I threw at them!!! The girls were an absolute pleasure to coach making my job that much easier! Like I said to them at the beginning of the season, it will keep getting better every time they step on the pitch!!! - These boys came a long way in 10 weeks. We spent a lot of time developing shape and tactical awareness. It was a tough fall starting up, but I think as we continue to grow into a unit, this team is going to become very strong. Fall 2009 Team Review
- I was very pleased with the progress our team made this fall, given that we have a lot of new players. Even though we had a good showing with only three losses, I’m more excited about our TEAM SPIRIT! This is something that can’t be coached and is present in every great team. Our team always has 100% participation in everything we do, on and off the field. I am amazed at how enthusiastic they are to train as a unit. This is our team strength and you make it a joy to coach! Thanks to all the players and parents for a fantastic season and I look forward to our indoor training. - Coach Joe

Fall 2009 Team Review
- The JSSA-MBM U12 girls (Allen) ....{yes, that's a mouthful}, completed their first Maple season. What a fantastic group of girls and families!! We set down excellent ground work for a successful spring campaign. Defense was our focus for the first half of the season, while offense took the second half. After a few indoor seasons and training starting in January, we'll be ready to hit the spring season with (pardon the expression) a spring in our step. - Coach Greg

Fall 2009 Team Review
- During the Fall 2009 season, Coach Jay's JSSA-MBM U13 Girls played in a very competitive and evenly-matched MAPLE Division 2. Thanks to two key wins at the end -- including one play-off game -- the team remains in D2 for the Spring. Overall, their game started moving toward the next level with strong possession play. The defense remained tight, giving up only 6 goals in 9 games. The offense had their first big game with a fun 4-0 victory. As a team, they celebrated making the final in their Columbus Day tournament. The girls genuinely enjoy playing together; this year several new players joined girls who have been together for 2-3 years. Our team goal for Spring 2010 is to do what we do well consistently. - Coach Jay

Fall 2009 Team Review
- We are a new team made up many first time Club players. We offered U13 players a chance to learn, grow and expand their skill set under pressure and strong competition. This is one of the factors that creates a special team spirit and chemistry that Club soccer is known for. We have had numerous players grow into leadership positions. All players have had the wonderful experience of building a new team and learning different roles and responsibilities on the field. The season highlight was playing against two teams from Montreal in a tournament. We are still looking for a keeper! - Coach Dave

Fall 2009 Team Review
- The U14 girls had a great fall season. We conceded only 2 goals and scored 34 in an undefeated (8-0) season. Our defense was anchored by goal keeper Carolyn, and defenders Leah W, Leah S, Liz A, and Caitlin W. Our offense was led by Gabby K, who scored 14 goals, but our offense was balanced with 11 different players finding the back of the net during the season. Our most important goal scored this season was in the final minutes of our final game preserving our perfect record. Kelsey M broke free of the defense and crossed the ball to Gabby who volleyed a shot past the outstretched keeper. A dramatic end to a great season. - Coach Aaron
